Leah Froyd, Cofounder, Violin & Viola (she/her)
Violinist, Leah Froyd hails from Denver, Colorado where she has earned recognition as a soloist, chamber musician and arts humanitarian. Ms. Froyd graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of renowned violinist, Ian Swensen. Trading coasts, Leah entered into the Master of Music Degree program at the Longy School of Music of Bard College as a Roman and Melanie Totenberg Scholar where she was the teaching assistant to Paula Majerfeld. During her studies in Boston, Ms. Froyd served as assistant Principal 2nd of the Lyrica Citizen’s Artist Orchestra as well as the organization’s managing director, specializing in collaborations with the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless and other local shelters. Now, in San Francisco, Ms. Froyd teaches her own private studio in the city and is the Founder and Director of Insight Chamber Players, an educational chamber music collective aiming to foster the relationships between local classical musicians and the community.
Griffin Seuter, Cello (she/her)
Griffin Seuter is a cellist based in San Francisco. She is passionate about music education and was the Ambassador of the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra where her responsibilities included sitting on the board of the orchestra, contributing to the planning and execution of the affiliated youth orchestra program (MyPSO), and organizing outreach concerts. Griffin has been involved with a variety of orchestras including the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, Portsmouth Pro Musica, UNH Symphony Orchestra, Tufts University Orchestra, Nashville Chamber Orchestra, Nashville Sinfonietta, and Gateway Chamber Orchestra. She has participated in festivals such as the SONAD Project, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Madeline Island Chamber Music, National Music Festival, and The Chautauqua Institution. She is an avid chamber musician and was a 2021 Recipient of The Christian Teal Award for collaborative playing.
Griffin is a recent graduate of the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University where she completed a Bachelor of Music degree studying under Dr. Felix Wang. A lover of all kinds of music, Griffin earned a Minor in Baroque Music Performance as well as a Concentration in Musicology. She served as a research assistant to Dr. Isidora Miranda in her study of Southeast Asian music and theater during the Colonial Period and as an assistant to Dr. Douglas Shadle in his Florence Price Research. Meghan Crosby-Jolliffe, Mezzo Soprano (they/them)
Meghan Crosby-Jolliffe is a mezzo-soprano, educator, and administrator who is passionate about fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment for all performing artists. Meghan holds a Master of Music in Voice from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a BM in Voice from the New England Conservatory. As a performer, Meghan crosses over genres, equally at home in Opera, Musical Theater, Early Music, and Chamber music settings. Favorite Bay Area performances include; Jewish Boys with Musical Cafe, Die Schöne Müllerin in recital at SFCM, and Sondheim on Sondheim with the SFCM Musical Theatre Ensemble. When not performing, Meghan Music Directs the Mainstage program at Musical Theatre Works and serves as the Membership & Community Engagement Officer for the Bay Area's theatre service organization, Theatre Bay Area.
Paul Kim, Violin & Viola (he/him)
Denver native, Paul Kim is a versatile violinist who now performs in the Bay Area. Aside from his current position with the Modesto Symphony, Paul has performed with One Found Sound, California Symphony, and other orchestras in the region. In addition to performing the orchestral repertoire, Paul loves the collaborative and intimate aspect of chamber music and has performed an extensive array of chamber works at the Glenview Classical Music Series.
With a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master of Music and a Professional Studies Certificate from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Paul's education is as rich as the music he interprets. A pupil of Robyn Julyan, Charles Wetherbee, and Cordula Merks, he's also honed his craft being coached by the Takács, Carpe Diem, and Telegraph String Quartets.
Offstage, Paul finds joy in baking bread and hiking through the scenic California Bay Area, all the while listening to music ranging from Beethoven to Gabriel Kahane.

Dana Marie Chan, Piano (she/her)
Dana Marie Chan is a collaborative pianist that performs in both the United States and Asia. She was the co-founder of the Intermission Orchestra at UCSD, the rehearsal pianist in Opera Parallele’s premiere production “Harriet’s Spirit” and Music Associate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College.
She received her Master’s degree in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in Collaborative Piano, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California San Diego as a double major in Music - Piano Performance, and International Business.
Currently, she teaches piano and performs in the Bay Area as a collaborative pianist. She is also the Development and Finance Manager at San Francisco Performances.
She received her Master’s degree in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in Collaborative Piano, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California San Diego as a double major in Music - Piano Performance, and International Business.

Geoffrey Lee, Piano (he/him)
Geoffrey Lee is a pianist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been an accompanist at the San Francisco Ballet School since 2019 and is the ballet pianist for the San Francisco Opera. In addition to accompanying dance, Geoffrey also enjoys making music both as a soloist and with other instrumentalists and vocalists in a variety of styles including jazz and more popular idioms. Recent projects include being the pianist for the Mark Foehringer's Nutcracker Sweets, celeste and keyboard player for the Napa Valley Regional Dance Company Nutcracker, and accompanist for the reading and rehearsals of Lamplighters Theatre's new commission By Georges! Geoffrey Lee received his M.M. in piano performance Spring 2020 after studying with Sharon Mann at the SF Conservatory of Music and Geoffrey completed his undergraduate education at Harvard University in 2014.
Suni Norman, Violin (she/her)
Suni Norman, a violinist from Tooele, Utah, is a laureate of multiple competitions, including the Stradivarius Competition. She was awarded Utah’s Best of State Instrumentalist in both 2014 and 2021.
She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across the U.S. and has appeared at festivals such as the New York String Orchestra, Music Academy of the West, Colorado College Festival, Heifetz, and Kneisel Hall. Norman has collaborated with distinguished artists including Ben Beilman, Robert McDonald, Marcy Rosen, and Shai Wosner, as well as renowned quartets such as the Borromeo, Miro, Takács, and Fry Street.
Currently, Norman is a supernumerary with the San Francisco and Utah Symphony orchestras. She is also featured in the PBS series Now Hear This (Copland: Dean of American Music).

Zoe Lee, Cello (she/her)
Zoe Lee is a dedicated artist with a passion for creating immersive and healing musical experiences. She has performed in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings across a variety of stages, including Herbst Theatre, Fort Mason Center, National Concert Hall in Taiwan, and Eslite Performance Hall. Her artistry blends classical training with an exploratory approach to diverse musical styles and interdisciplinary collaboration. As a chamber musician, she seeks creative ways to engage broader audiences, curating unique experiences such as chamber music and fine dining collaboration, as well as a multimedia concert with a painter. This year, with grant support from SFCM and CMC, she is curating a cello sound bath and yoga event.
An active member of the Bay Area music scene, Zoe regularly premieres works by emerging composers and performs with award-winning artists, including Ragnar Bohlin and John Adams. She also participated in the recording of Nick Platoff's 2022 album, Limousine of Creative Potential, collaborating with members of the San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Ballet. Zoe holds a Bachelor’s in Cello Performance from SFCM with the Vincent Constantino Scholarship, studying with Jean-Michel Fonteneau. She is now completing her Master’s under the guidance of Jennifer Culp.

Yunyi Ji (he/him)
Chinese-American keyboardist Yunyi Ji commands a broad repertory that overlooks five centuries of keyboard tradition. Through his contrasting passions in early and modern music, Yunyi ponders beauty’s ability to transcend time, style, and society, and embodies each finding in performances of his own. Yunyi obtained his BM and MM Piano Performance at the Eastman School of Music and the SF Conservatory of Music, studying under Rebecca Penneys, Paul Hersh, Jon Nakamatsu, and Corey Jamason. He is a recent graduate of The Juilliard School with a focus on historical keyboards, exploring the development of keyboard history and the evolution of its performance practice. Yunyi has appeared as soloist with Eastman Philharmonia and SFCM Baroque Orchestra and has been named an Emerging Artist by the Berkeley Piano Club. He is a founding member of the Bay Area-based new music/early music project Parallax Concerts and the new music ensemble Stolen Time.
Hasan Abualhaj (he/him)
Hasan Marwan Abualhaj is a Palestinian modern and historical cellist based in San Francisco, CA. Hasan holds a Bachelors in Cello Performance from Portland State University under the tutelage of Hamilton Cheifetz, a Masters in Historical Cello & Performance from Indiana University under Joanna Blendulf and Stanley Ritchie, and a Professional Studies Diploma from San Francisco Conservatory of Music under Elisabeth Reed and Corey Jamason. As a section cellist, Hasan has performed with orchestras spanning the West Coast and the Midwest, such as the Bay Philharmonic, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Oregon East Symphony Orchestra, McCall Music Festival Orchestra, Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, and Columbus Philharmonic Orchestra. In the field of historically-informed performance, Hasan has worked with period ensembles including the California Bach Society, the Bloomington Bach Cantata Project, Albany Consort, Zephyr Symphony, American Bach, and the Portland Baroque Orchestra. Hasan was spotlighted in Faces of Early Music America as a featured artist, in which he expresses his artistic goal in humanizing historical music through performances informed by the understanding of its societal contexts, and the consequent diversification of Western music through said pursuit.
Lorenna Garcia, Viola (she/her)
Lorenna Keilani Garcia is a Filipina/Latina violist born and raised in Canoga Park, California. She began her musical journey at age 12, and her newly discovered passion for music led her to excel in her studies on the viola, and she made the decision in high school to pursue a career in music.
Lorenna went on to pursue her Bachelors of Music in Viola Performance from the University of California, Los Angeles, studying under violist Brian Chen. Here, she made her solo debut in Royce Hall with UCLA Philharmonia and became immersed in the LA music scene as an avid free-lance, studio, and orchestral musician. She also held fellowship positions from the esteemed American Youth Symphony and the California Young Artist Symphony. Outside of her classical career, Lorenna was a violinist and vocalist in Uclatlán, UCLA’s only professional mariachi group, and an active community member in the college’s Filipino cultural organization, Samahang Pilipino.
After graduating from UCLA, Lorenna went on to receive her Masters of Music in Viola Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying under Principal Violist of the San Francisco Symphony, Jonathan Vinocour. At SFCM, she made her debut in Davies Symphony Hall playing in side-by-side orchestral concerts with both the San Francisco Symphony and The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. She also won a position as section violist in the Stockton Symphony Orchestra during her time at SFCM. Outside of her career as a violist, Lorenna learned more about her passion for cultural advocacy and retention in classical music. She held the Community Development Graduate Assistant position at SFCM for both of her years in her MM degree where she helped cultivate feelings of community and belonging for student affinity groups throughout the school.
Currently, Lorenna is an avid freelance violist in the San Francisco Bay Area. She currently performs with Insight Chamber Players, and is employed by the San Francisco Symphony as an Adventures in Music (AIM) musician, performing for various SF public schools around the city. Her and her chamber group work closely with the SF Symphony to curate fun and educational programs for young children to help get them excited and educated about classical music. She is also the viola teacher for the Free Music Academy of Silicon Valley, who aims to promote diversity and inclusivity in classical music by providing free, online music lessons to historically-resilient young musicians by world-class trained instructors. Lorenna is very grateful for all the professional opportunities her musical journey has brought her, and strives to be a strong advocate for Black and Brown classical musicians of all levels.

Catalina Hill, Alto (they/them)
Catalina (Cat) Hill is a young, proudly LGBTQ+ soprano originally from Austin, Texas, currently studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Susanne Mentzer. Known for their expressive singing and honesty, both on stage and in real life, Catalina strives to make each performance a genuine expression of humanity. Outside of music, Catalina enjoys watching films, working out, and spending time with friends and family.

Cooper Grosscup (he/him)
Born in ’94 and hailing from Chico California, Cooper Grosscup composes music for his friends and colleagues in the Bay Area and beyond. He studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under David Conte, where he has focused on composing modern works in a classical style. He is also a sought after piano teacher privately and at the Hamlin School as well as an app developer for the music pedagogy app, MusicianShip. As one of Insight’s resident composers, he strives to write music that opens people’s hearts and minds. As a dedicated educator he aims to connect audiences with their curiosity and bring them closer to the music.
